Our Breaking of Bread, or Communion, service lies at the heart of our fellowship. In the service we sing, pray, read the Bible together and listen to words of encouragement, but most of all we share a little bread and wine to remind us of the wounded body and shed blood of the Lord Jesus who died for us.
And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me." Luke 22:19 (NIV)
There is also joy as we remember that Jesus rose from the dead and will return to the earth in power and glory to remove all evil and set up his kingdom of justice and peace.
Our communion service normally takes place every Sunday, and now starts at 10:30 am.
NOTE: if you visit our "Talks" page you can listen on-line to some of the talks, known as "exhortations", that have been given at recent communion services.
